We can’t think of any logical reason as to why you’d want to return a tip down (aside from a fluke unit not actually working), but just in case you need to, here are our official policies.
Contact Us First!
We’re not a huge outfit with a massive warehouse and hundreds of people answering phones. Likewise, we don’t yet have one of those fancy return systems where you print off a label, ship it back, and everything just magically gets taken care of.
We need to first verify your purchase and then make a note that we should be receiving your return in a couple of days. If you need to make an exchange because your unit isn’t working, we’d also take this opportunity to make sure you’re operating it properly and the unit actually really is broken. Because hey, we all make mistakes and no one wants to go another week without their tip down.
This contact is honestly more for you than it is for us so that we make sure we refund your money correctly.
Exchanges, Returns & Refund Policy
For any of the following scenarios, you must send the original base, pedestal, and pole back to us. You can’t keep the base and the pole and have us ship a new pedestal.
Exchanges
In the event you received a non-functioning tip down, simply send it back to us, we will inspect it, and then ship a new tip down back to you within 1-3 business days (though we’ll make every effort for it to only be 1).
If the original tip down truly was broken when we sent it, we will pay the return shipping cost (to us) and the cost to ship it back to you. If the original tip down was actually working and you just forgot to turn the volume up or turn the switch on, we will not pay for the return shipping (to us) nor the shipping back to you. That will be your responsibility.
Returns
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it resellable. If you used it a time or two and there are absolutely no blemishes or signs of wear and tear so that we may resell it again, you will be issued a full refund. If there are any noticeable knicks, dings, cuts, or scratches, we will not issue a refund. This isn’t Hertz rent-a-car and we don’t accept blemishes smaller than a dollar bill.
Original packaging is not required; however, if the item gets damaged during shipping we will not issue a refund. For that reason, it’s best to return it in the original packaging.
Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
Return Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless it was a non-functioning unit as described above. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.
